Using Spamless
Domain health & alerts
The Health page is a per-domain checklist that catches configuration problems before they break your mail.
What it checks
For each of your domains:
- MX record — does your domain's mail actually point at Spamless? If not, nothing can be filtered or delivered.
- SPF — does your SPF record authorise Spamless? If not, relayed mail can be marked as spam by the receiving side.
- DMARC — is a DMARC policy published for your domain? If not, anyone can spoof it in phishing.
- Daily quota — how close today's volume is to your plan's limit.
Each check shows Healthy, Needs attention or Action required, with the exact record to add when something is missing. Fix the record at your DNS provider, then re-verify on the Domains page.
Trial and usage forecast
The page also shows how many days are left in your trial (while you're in one) and a projection of this month's volume. If you're on track to exceed your plan, it recommends the plan that fits and links straight to the upgrade.
Email alerts
We email the account owner when a domain needs attention — a broken MX, a missing SPF or DMARC record, or a quota running out. Repeat alerts about the same problem are suppressed for a few days so your inbox stays quiet.
Only the account owner can switch these alerts off, with the Email alerts toggle on the Health page. They're on by default.
Other emails we may send you
- Domain activated — when a domain passes verification.
- Daily quota reached — at most once a day per domain.
- High-risk message blocked — at most once an hour per domain.
- Weekly summary — processed, quarantined and rejected counts for the last 7 days (only when there was traffic).
- Quarantine digest — if you enabled it (see Quarantine digest emails).
- Account and billing mail — verification, welcome, new sign-in, password and 2FA changes, team invites, payment receipts and failures, cancellation.
