Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-25

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs your use of Spamless.dev (the “Service”). It protects our customers, our infrastructure, and the wider email ecosystem. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to this AUP.

2. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to:
  • Send, relay, or facilitate unsolicited bulk or commercial email (spam), or any mail in violation of anti-spam laws (e.g. GDPR/ePrivacy, CAN-SPAM).
  • Distribute malware, phishing, fraudulent, or deceptive content, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material.
  • Process mail for domains you do not own or are not authorised to manage.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or degrade the spam-filtering, quarantine, or security controls.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or use the Service to build a competing product, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach authentication/authorisation, without our prior written consent.
  • Overload, flood, or otherwise impair the Service (e.g. denial-of-service), or exceed your plan’s rate/quota limits by automated means.
  • Use the Service to harvest addresses or to send to harvested lists.

3. Customer responsibility

You are responsible for the conduct of your users and for the mail flowing through your domains. You must have a lawful basis to process the email you route through the Service and must honour recipients’ rights and opt-outs.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, throttle, or terminate access — with or without notice depending on severity — to protect the Service and third parties. We may remove or quarantine offending content and cooperate with law enforcement where legally required. Serious or repeated violations may result in account termination under the Terms of Service.

5. Reporting abuse

To report abuse of, or originating from, the Service, contact abuse@spamless.dev. We review reports promptly. For security vulnerabilities, please use responsible disclosure to security@spamless.dev.
